I weighed the unit this past weekend no water, no sewer, no wife, full fuel, full propane and the necessities beer whiskey etc. 19,600 1 hundred pounds over. All kinds of storage but for what feathers?
Has any one else weighed? I am licensed for 21,000 pounds and if Chevy derated the GVW I think I'm Ok at 20,000 any comments or experiences appreciated. I told my wife replace the tube tvs with LCD's would save alot of weight I don't think she bought it. I do know that one of the bedroom chairs is going realy not enough room for 2 anyway. The chair does not fit through the bedroom door hope I can get it out the back window (fire escape). Maybe after I buy 10 or 20 RVs I'll get it right. I think one should try to rent and use a unit before purchasing. GVW whoda thought
Okay Now I can only find one sticker the one with the tire pressure above the driver seat on the wall. I can not find the one with the weight info. The manual(Ha)shows two stickers the federal sticker above the driver seat and the federal weight information label it does not give a location for the later. can anyone help?

Found the sticker.
Very disapointing.
It will be very hard to stay under weight.
Hopefully Chevy De-rated the chasis.
CCC is realy somthing for buyers need to be aware of.
The CCC does not include any options air, gen, etc.
They add up fast.
Looks like the ZUMA scooters will have company in the trailer.

Rheevs, I think that your UVW includes the generator and air. If I take the sticker in the overhead cabinet and go backwards, the gen set does not figure in the CCC. I have a new BTC 5290 that we have had for a month and the sticker weights are within a hundred lbs. Also, any 2005, BTC 5290 owners out there should check between the left rear dual and the house for the propane line coming thru the floor. Mine does and when the springs deflected the tire was rubbing the gas line. It is a possible safety hazard if a tire was to blow also. Marv

The Gulfstream manual has a checklist which includes subtracting ac gen etc. I have sent an e-mail to GS asking the question, awaiting there reply.
