roof coating

I have a 99 SunVoyager and the roof is not leaking, but chalked the color is coming through. Last summer I cleaned it off, there was quite a bit of 'slime' on the surface of the roof. Would like to have a uniform color, guess white or silver are the two common colors. Any tips or product ecommendations?

I am facing doing something on my rv roof when it gets warm as well. I have a 99 Sunvoyager. I have been researching this issue. I am going to order a product called liquid roof. See epdmcoating.com or liquidroof.com.
