front wheel bearings grease

anyone care to share info on performing a front wheel bearing service- how can i tell if grease or oil is required.

frank when you pull your hubcap off you will find a red plug or maybe black plug if it is oil bathed, and you should find a steel cap screwed on or pounded in ,depending on the size of your front axle if it is greased. hope this helps Jack
