Motorhome Recall

I read in a Good Sam E-Mail that there is a recall on Gulf Stream 38MY 2005, 2008,and 2009 Friendship, Scenic Cruiser, and the Tourmaster RV equipped with ZF MODEL 8018 steering gears. The steering gears may have been assembled with the incorrect re-circulating ball spacer. This could potentionally allow the re-circulating balls to escape from the re-circulating ball circuit resulting in a loss of steering.

How do you know if you have this model steering gears????

Contact customer service the maker of the frame, IE - Freightliner, and give the last 6 digs of the vin.

Side note...I had this done on our 08 TM, but this was over a year ago when the recall came out. Pondering this is just hitting as a recall via Good Sams. Unless it is something differnt, which I will check, but do not think it is as it sounds like what I recall. (no pun intended. :))
