camera or monitor

My rear monitor has pink stripes on the left hand side. Do you think it is the camera or the monitor?

Need to ask...Do you have more than one camera? If so, when you switch cams do you still have the pink line? If so, monitor, if not, camera. Or can you switch the monitor to a differnt input even if you have nothing on it? IF you can, you maybe still be able to tell.

Other than that, hard to say without seeing an image of what you are seeing.

I'm no technophile, so I don't know if this will work or not. But I would think if the monitor is connected to the camera with a standard coax cable, you may be able to connect it to a regular television. If the stripes go away it's the monitor.
