I have a 92 Gulfstream Sun Voyage (32') with a Spartan Chassis. The power steering control valve(?) is leaking. It is under the RV aft of the front axle. Everything works fine as long as there is fluid in the resevoir. Does anyone know if this item can be removed and taken to a hydraulics shop for repair? Can I get the parts to rebuild it myself. I have experience rebuilding hydraulic on slide-out rams, Mercury marine I/O units and auto brake and clutch systems. Can rebuilt units be purchased? Any ideas?

Best thing would be to contact Spartan and see what they have to say. I know that buying parts for anything over ten years on automobiles is almost imposible anymore. But you might be able to get a rebuilt one.
Have you checked through the internet on Goggle?

I have emailed Spartan this weekend and am expecting some reply, but I would be remiss not to ask the forum since someone has probably already experienced this problem. Their experience would might save some hassle and cash.
