On September 25th over 160 National Parks are waiving entrance fees in honor of Public Lands Day...in case you're going.

Well, this would have been a good idea. It's a pity we only started camping last month. I would have loved to take the kids over to some great parks nearby, oh well.
This weekend, me and the buddies are gong to try something different though and go camping on vacant land for sale on http://acreageforsale.org/ instead of public land or other camping areas. Someone recommended that we try this so here we are. Hope this ends well1 LOL...

If you are over 65 you can get a golden passport from the national park service for about $20 which will get you and anyone in your car into any national park (lifetime).
