We have a "new to us" 2006 Gulfstream Crescendo model 8356. I noticed a black 15 amp power cord in the power box where the 50 amp power cord is stored. I plugged an extension cord into the unknown 15 amp cord and checked interior ac outlets - as expected this 15 amp cord does not power any coach items. Is it possible that this 15amp cord might be a engine block heater??

Any and all ideas welcomed - this has been a great site for coach information.

Ron,

Yes, it most likely is the engine block heater -- there should be a single socket outlet in that same compartment near the upper rear edge that it plugs into (at least that is how my Tour Master is wired.)

You can go to the interior AC breaker panel and find the "engine heater" breaker which should control that outlet. I leave my cord plugged in and just turn off the breaker in the warm weather and during storage if in a controlled environment building.
