I just noticed that my outside right rear tires is wearing different that I have ever witnessed. It is a Goodyear G670 275/70/22.5. The outside 2-3 Inches of tread is worn very choppy or wavy. The rest of the tire is worn normal. They have 10,000 miles on them.
When I went to the storage yard yesterday to get it, that tire was totally flat. Roadside service found a nail in the center and broke the tire down and patched it from the inside. One theory that I had was that it might have been losing air before I stored it and ran it a short ways being low.
Also I've read a lot about "tire rivering", but have not seen an actual picture of what that looks like.
Any ideas?
