How many batteries do you have room for? If 2 or more, most seem to go with the Trojan 105's.. Interstate makes the GC-2/GC-2XHD also..

Went with Optima Blue top! The 31 series which is there biggest. We use our Supernova in the winter so needed a battery with lots of reserve and amp output so heater doesn't kill battery at night . Expensive battery, but works great and better than the Interstates that I had.

Are not the Blue Top's 'dual purpose' batteries? I dont see them lasting as long..

This info is from their website. What you are looking for is a battery that has a high Reserve Capacity, not so much Cold Crank Amps, but the bigger the Capacity the longer it is going to last. The Interstate Deep Cycle batteries I had were a Reserve of 120, the Optima's are 155. Here is their Data and then below what it says from their site. They are designed for long draw downs, plus they are Heavy Duty. I used to wake up to a 1/3 battery or a dead battery and have to start my RV in order to start Generator. Now I wake up and have a 2/3 battery on the gauge. The cheapest place to buy them is on Amazon.com or call around and price shop all the battery stores in your town.

What was the Interstate's model number?

A 75Ah battery could not be considered 'deep cycle' I would think. Golf cart batts are over 200Ah and would last you prolly all week at the your rate of use.

75ah is just a unit of measurement. They also say that on 6V. The 25 amp discharge is common test or rating. The Optimas that I got are at 155. 6V can be 200 to over 400, just depends on how much you want to spend. I did not want to spend $400-500 on each battery. And from my experience with my parents 54' yacht their 6v batteries don't last any longer, they replace them every 2 years. Figure how much you want to spend, by a really good Smart charger to leave hooked up when your not using RV ($100+) and then do research on Web to find best rated battery for your budget. Everybody has different experience with same battery so you can't always go off opinions or reviews. Only 30% of batteries make it to 48 months because they build up sulfites from not being maintained or charged correctly. Good luck.
