Called Gulf Stream about a few problems we have with are trailer. The Furnace keeps blowing fuses, the shower leaks and the bedroom mirror closet door latch was broken, not to mention a list of thing the Dealer at home said they would fix them when we get back. Gulf Stream guy named John B. Said to send him pics and address of where we are staying ( thought he was sending me the door latch and a couple of 10 amp fuses? since I told him I went through 5 0r 6 fuses 3 on the road and couple at the park. It did start to work after first 3 then started to blow fuses again. he then told me to take my trailer to a dealer which wanted $110.00 just to look at the shower problem ( because this seemed to me to be the worst problem ,water leaks are a no-no ) Didn,t want to up root and leave the park so I asked the park manager who they delt with and call them and they fixed it for just $100 dollars saved gulf Stream alot of money. Waited for closet latch and fuses. NONE CAME called John B. and he said he just can;t send me a hundred fuses and he didn;t know about the latch. Told him all I wanted was my latch and the 5 fuses I used HE SAID NO TO FUSES? Can you believe this . If I had his job I would have sent the customer 2 latches and a hand full of fuses just to keep him happy. It just blows my mind that after saving Gulf Stream money on the water leak they are still looking into it. :(

Hopefully he'll get the latch to you. Throwing fuses at an electrical problem is a bad idea, blowing fuses indicate a problem that could lead to a fire, my guess is that's why he didn't want to send them. He should have sent someone to see why they keep blowing and fix the problem however. Good luck, hope it works out for you.

BTW, I had a leak in my shower too and discovered the panel where the shower faucet is mounted wasn't caulked properly, I took off the panel cleaned off the old caulk and resealed it, took care of the problem.

Yes I know about the fuse problem and understand that just keep blowing fuses is a problem . I told him I was not going to use the furnace ( went out and bought a heater for the trailer ) and would bring it in when we get home. I just wanted the fuses I paid for returned .Value a 1.97 (not the point just the fact he wouldn't throw the fuses in with the latch? Just makes good customer relations. That the point i am triing to get accross to the Gulf Stream people. Take care of your customers and they will only say good things about you. :)
