Steps not working

06 Cresendo sat for 6 mos. and now the steps won't work,any ideas?

My first thoughts are corrosion. Test the wires that enter the motor and see if they are hot. Then rotating the armature may be in order.

We sat for only a month on Mustang Island Texas, near the beach, and the step rusted so it would not move. A little liquid wrench
and moving back and forth finally freed it up. Salt air is a bi***!!!

Unplugged the connector and plugged back in,wiggled the steps and sprayed lubricant on joints and they went to work----thanks for the help. :D
