Hey Everyone,

Any idea why the dealers claim that the 6400 will not be produced anymore in 2012?

Is Gulfstream having financial or technical issues?

Is the factory providing adequate support now and will they continue?

Would you recommend a purchase?

Sorry for the question rant, help would be greatly appreciated.

Eric, full disclosure, I am a former GS Super Nova owner. Having just traded in my 6372 about a month ago.

I was told twice by two different dealers that "Gulfstream was out of the motorhome, but not towable business", and as such,
suffered a 20% hit on my trade in.

When I checked with the home office, with my contact there, I was told that they were making units to order, but not mass producing coaches just now,
waiting for the market to give them direction.

I was able to get parts for my coach when needed, and got a ladder sent right away when I backed into something and damaged mine.

Think others have commented that their website does not reflect new units available in motorized division.

I have not seen anything one way or the other on RVIA or other news sources as to what the company is thinking as far as product lines.

Do believe that they don't have a lot of International chassis around to build coaches with also.

Hope this answers some questions you have.... sorry I couldn't be more definitive.....

Thanks Jim,

If you don't mind me asking, what did your trade for and why? Your feedback is much appreciated.

We traded for an 08 Monaco Dynasty. We felt we needed more room, since we are taking our grandson along with us during the summers-

What sealed it for us was the opposing front slides, and we like the bigger bedroom area, and some other features of the Monaco.

We enjoyed our time with the Nova, it was just time for us to move on. Our unit was on Bretz's lot for four days before it sold.....

We also previously had a Jayco Seneca, so we were experienced in Super C's.

PM me if you have any further questions, happy to answer them for you...
