Could someone please tell me what rpms there unit is running at 70 mph. Mine is at 3,000 which sound high to me. Also how many of you have had loss of power with this motor? Thanks

No loss of power with motor. Maybe you have a bad injector that is not getting full fuel.

Sounds like you might have one of the first 2008 Suprenova's with the 617 gears. I had this problem and International changed the gears to 529 under warranty. This is the ratio it should have been and all newer 2008-2010 have. I now run 2400rmp = 66mph and at 3200+ you are doing 85mph.

When you go in to International dealer make sure your PCM is up to date, and ask them to take the speed limiter off, it is set at 75mph. One of the changes in the PCM updates is to have the injectors run for about 10-20 seconds after engine shut off to flush fuel into them to keep them from plugging up.

Good luck

Yep, someone did not get the gears changed on your rig. International should still do this for you. If you have loss of power above 3000 rpm, as schmitten says, its your speed limiter kicking in.
