gvwr amerilite

Question on amerilite 255bh.
Having slight tire problem Gulf Stream has replaced tires with help from my dealer. Question is the trailer gvwr is 7620 but the tires are load rated at 1760 each so @ 7040 total. Is this the way it is on all travel trailers or am I missing something???

Don't forget to subtract the 12% (ish) tongue weight

so you are saying the tongue of 625-650 should come off gvwr. then that would make it right at 7000 lbs.

No, the GVWR of the trailer does not change.

but the entire weight of the trailer is not on the tires. 12% (12% is the ideal number for tongue weight) of the trailers weight is on the hitch, not the tires.
