VIN LOCATION

Hello. I have purchased a 1999 Gulf Stream Ameri-lite M-21FMB 5th wheel. It was purchased from another state and I need to get VIN verified from my local law enforcement. I am having difficulties finding the complete 17 #'s on the unit. I have a gold oval sticker by the entrance door that has the last 5 numbers of the VIN on it. I also have a recreational vehicle data sheet which came with the unit that does have the complete 17 #'s. Does anyone know if this is all I need? Is there a place on the body,frame etc... that the number may be? The unit does not have a VIN plate like most late model units have. Thank you for your help!!

There should be a sticker on the street side that has the vin # on it. On my Canyon Trail the vin # is also scribed on the pin box mount.

I have a 2008 GS independence 8330 with a 2007 ford F550 frame. Question MVD want the frame Vin #, I found the body vin # on the wall back of the driver seat, but where is the frame Vin located?
