Well, we just purchased a2013 Amerilite 19KD travel trailer. Our TV is a 2000 Suburban, with the HD tow package option. Am all set to have the dealer install a WDH with the setup. They price matched us for 500 less than sticker, so it's 'free' in a sense.
The 19KD is a dual axle, and very light on those axles. (3700 dry weight, 3600lb load capacity in addition). Have others found it troublesome to have the wdh setup?
I've read a post or two here about some vehicles riding better without it? My gut says get it, cost isn't an issue. But I'm towing this thing with a land yacht (my suburban is rated 8800lbs, the hitch at 8000 with wdh, 5000 without).

Ideas or suggestions or...better yet, experiences?

Thanks!

Nothing says you must use a WDH.

With "light" tongue and well prepare Burb, I don't think you will need one...

If you don't buy a WDH, at least, get an anti-sway bar. It's a cheap insurance.
