Does any one know if the gauges have a internal regulator that operates the gauges? My fuel gauge doesn't go to Full, The Speedo stopped working, and the temp gauge pegs out.
The other gauges work properly so I am unsure if it has a regulator for the gauges.
I did have the temp circuit tested and had the sensor replaced. The gauge worked for about 20 miles and started pegging again.
When the RV is off the speedo might read 35mph, as I start the RV the speedo goes nutso. Then as I start driving the speedo goes down to zero and stays there.
The fuel gauge doesn't read full ever. It does seem to read correctly after it hits 3/4 of a tank

Is there anywhere I can find replacement gauges, or can I go with an electronic control setup?

What chassis do you have. I had a problem one time with my speedometer and I took it to Freightliner and they fixed it. Not sure what they done, but my point is take it to the chassis builder and they can fix anything. Mine was still under warranty when this happened. As many gauges that have failed on yours it could be something simple that will fix it.

Example: I have a new Honda CRV that I bought in 2013. Anyways I was at a RV park by Lake Otay near San Diego. I noticed that there was a lot of wild life around the campground like rabbits, squirrels and coyotes. I went to start my CRV and it cranked and cranked finally it started but on the cluster of lights three of them were lite up. One was the electric power assist light, the other was a traction light and the engine light. I could not accelerate the engine, it would only idle. So I towed it to the Honda dealer where I had bought the suv. They found right behind the block three wires cut. I guess a squirrel decided it wanted to eat some electrical wires. My point is that it could be something simply as that on your problem with the gauges on your coach. Did not cost me anything because it was still under warranty and they could not prove that it actually was cut by the sharp teeth of a squirrel.

Yo RayChez
Thanks for the info. I didn't know if freightliner would have anything to do with the gauges or not.
