We have a 2006 Gulstream Independence. The tail/brake/backup lights all have a rubber gasket around them. I need to get to the bulb to change one that has burned out. Before I use brute force to get the gasket off, can anyone tell me if there is a better/safer method?

Thank you for your help. Again.

Not sure if the Independence is a diesel or gasoline coach, but on most diesel coaches there has to be a way to get to the rear of the tail lights. On mine you open the rear radiator hood or door, lift it up and lock. If you look on the inside wall of the rear end cap there is a six inch screw on cap. Unscrew it and it should allow you to get to the rear and change the bulbs.

Sorry I didn't say so in my original post, but we have a gas engine, so there is no access through a rear engine compartment.

My left rear turn signal isn't working, don't know if it's wiring or bulb. How do you remove the cover to check it out?

I put a spray of WD-40 gave it a couple of minutes came right off without damaging the gasket and just replace the light
