Fred,

I am a bit under 215 and worry each time I use the rear ladder on my Tour Master... the roof seems strong enough itself but the access via that ladder is marginal to my way of thinking. Do you have anyone you can have go up there on your coach and do this resetting for you that is smaller and lighter?

By the way, changing the dish code on my 2007 TM to accommodate the DirecTV receiver instead of the Echostar/Dish unit that the prior owner was using did not result in useable service. You may need a newer dish and LNB if your unit is as old as mine... So far I have not made the change over, as I am in the same RV park most of the time and use off air (full HDTV with my new screens in the coach) or their cable service.

Hope this is of some help...

Fred,

It is always worth a try to see if it can be made to work...let us know how it goes. Best of luck...

I have a Kingdome on mine since 2003 and I used to have Dish. I changed to Direct and all I had to do was install the Direct TV receiver and press the button and BINGO it found the satellites right away. I did not have to change any LNB or anything, just the receivers inside the coach.

The roof on my coach is solid. I weigh 206 lbs and never worry about falling through the roof. My coach did not come equipped with a ladder. So I just lean a ladder against it with some padding where it contacts the coach so that it does not damage the paint.
