"Plasticy" Fresh Water

Got a 2012 Visa trailer. No matter how many drinking water approved hoses I try my water always has a plastic taste and smell. Any ideas? After all this time and flushes I am at wits end. All but undrinkable.

Sounds like you need to flush your tank and use chlorine bleach in the water to soak it, then flush again a couple times.

That is the maddening part Ron, I am talking about straight from the cg water connection at the site. I almost never use the fresh water tank in the trailer. I have bought at least 3 drinking water hoses which made no difference. It is as though my trailer plumbing is the fouling culprit. I have owned many rv's over the years and never had this issue before. We use mostly bottled water even for coffee, that taste permeates everything. Even after a week or more it makes no difference. The system gets the pink stuff every prewinter prep so something should change it, but it don't. I am ready to do a direct line to a sink drinking water tap with flex copper!

I never drink the tap water, always buy bottled from the superstore.
I never have to worry about what it's going to taste like or how 'safe' it is.
for every other water use I use what comes out of the taps.
