Mr. "Dim Bulb" Strikes Again

Sorry for being such a newbie. I want to change out the interior incandescent light bulbs for LEDs. But Mr. "Dim Bulb" can't seem to get the bulb covers off of my interior light fixtures. I figured it was the typical squeeze and pull method, but that didn't work and I don't want to break the covers in the process. It's a 2011 Gulf Stream AmeriLite 15FDLE. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

You have a different year, but mine slide, then drop off... (I also tried to squeeze and pull initially.) Try sliding them away from the switch...

Thanks atreis. The slide & drop method did the trick. Now I know what type of bulb to get.
