liftgate on 06 Enduramax toyhauler

Liftgate mysteriously doesnt work at all .. worked fine last use about 3 weeks ago. Switch has been tested and seems to work fine.. 12v power to plug and switch. no noise nothing up or down. any ideas anyone?

can anyone tell me how to check the solenoid.. ive got the rear plate off the back and everything looks good. have 12v to one side of the solenoid.. should the other side of the solenoid be grounded when switch is NOT engaged?

i bought a new solenoid today and installed it. liftgate still does nothing.. what could it be?
