Door entry assist handle

I am thinking of adding a door assist handle to my 2011 19RSD as I will be install the lift kit next month, and with the added height I want the kids to have something to help them get into the trailer. Has anyone done this to theirs. IF so, is there a stud or something beside the door frame that I can anchor the handle to? Or how should install this.

Speaking of installing has anyone taken the hydraulics off the door and installed a t-handle door open look. If so how and where should I install that.

well I am asking questions has anyone installed a screen door bar/grill, I want to keep the kids from pushing on the screen. Any advice or suggestions on this would be great.

Hello jayrock. I have installed a screen door assist bar purchased from Camping World. It was relatively easy to do. Here's a link to the Camping World listing.
