How do you fill the fresh water tank?

A warning label on the side of the trailer warns that filling the tank under pressure (as a hose would do running from the spigot) risks rupturing the tank and/or damaging the trailer. How else could you fill this tank? So if you hook up your sanitary hose and turn on the spigot, as I assumed I would do, I would wait until water started coming back out of where I had it gently attached to the intake port on the trailer. This is all new to me so I hope someone can provide me with an answer. Maybe I'm making more of it than necessary.

They sell an attachment for the end of the hose that has a shut off valve and a smaller plastic tube that fits down into the fresh water tank port. I just picked one up at Walmart for about $10.

What is that attachment called? I will run by Walmart and look for it.
