I have 2007 Touring B cruiser and the taillight sockets and bulbs are all corroded due to a crappy design by GS. I need to repalce it all but don't know where to look or what brand the taillight is. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I have the same problem ongoing with my 2007 BT Cruiser. The tail light assemblies are poorly made and I have ongoing problems with poor electrical contact to the base of the bulb. I wish they made new assemblies with LED bulbs. All I end up doing now for a temporary fix is wiggle the connection points . The mounting of the assemble is poorly designed too which would make it difficult to remove. Anyone with any good fixes please email me at [email protected]

lets revive this, i'm going crazy trying to get my taillights working properly. i'll do some mods, have them working and then go to get the vehicle inspected and its failed... i've put an email into gulfstream to try and find part identifier and a way to purchase.

Not much new since I made a post in Sept, 2019. I got mine working again but it may not last very long. It is in storage now and used very little last year. As I recall there is a metal bar across the base of the bulb mountings and it can be removed by removing a couple of screws. I have even resorted to placing small cable ties/tie wraps to help hold things in place. I have never removed the whole lens assembly and I can see that it is secured in very poorly with these long skinny bolts about 1/8 " in diameter and the nut is threaded way down on the bolt. Would probably need to cut the bolt to remove the lens. My bulbs have never failed/burned out. It has always been poor connections at the base of the bulb. I wish GS offered a complete new assembly with LED bulbs. I would like to know if anyone has a good fix for these. My email address is [email protected]
