It might help if you could tell forum members what brand of coach you have, whether it is a Gulf Stream diesel pusher or a gasoline motor home.

I can only tell you that on my Gulf Stream Scenic Cruiser you lift the hood at the rear of the coach and at the ends of the rear cap their are some screw on type six inch covers. Kind of like the one that I have to unscrew to get the sewer hose in to make a connection. You unscrew that cover and you can get to the rear of the tail lights. Only one problem I found was that when my coach was manufactured in Nappanee, Indiana they went crazy spraying the liquid foam insulation. And yes it was sprayed all over the back of the tail light making it very hard to get to the light bulbs.

If it is a gasoline coach, I am not sure how those are put together.

Sorry, my first post, I have a 2008 40 foot crescendo diesel pusher. It appears that the foam has been sprayed over the backs of the light assemblies.

Yep! I believe that is the only way to remove the light bulb because I tried removing the screws from the outside and it would not come off. So I figured maybe you had to go through the rear and possibly unscrew the light bulb like on many automobiles. But I chose not to change my stop light bulb. So I still have only one stop light on my coach. It seemed awfully hard to remove that foam off the rear of the light assembly.

My 08 crescendo tear turn signal lights are held in with a rubber seal
Remove the seal and the light assembly will come out

Not real easy but doable
