When I was looking for a another Super C to replace my 2007 Four Winds I would have loved information comparing the Gulfstream to the 2012 and up Jayco Seneca. So for any future buyers of a Super C I wanted to voice my opinion on the Supernova vs the 2012 and up Jayco Super C. I have owned a Super C on the Kodiak 5500 and Duramax diesel and I would like to keep these out of the discussion. I have nothing against the Kodiak or Duramax but its not on par with the International or Freightliner chassis.
Power - before purchasing my 2010 6400 Supernova I test drove a 2016 37FS Bunkhouse model with the Cummins ISB 6.7L 340 HP engine. In my opinion my 6400 has as much or more acceleration off the line as the 37FS Jayco Seneca. I would also say my 6400 could pull a hill as good as the Jayco Seneca.
Drivability - Both of the units seem to drive quite well. One thing I did notice about the M2 was the steering. On the 37FS I test drove the searing was quite heavy feeling. I mentions this to the sales person and he informed me that this was because the RV was built on a truck chassis. If this is how all Jayco's are I can say the steering on the Supernova is much lighter feeling.
I will also add my opinion on build quality, capacities and etc in the future.
