I just bought a 2007 Gulf Stream Sun Voyager model 8368 gas coach, V-10 6.8L engine, with Banks Powerpack. I found some recall notices online something to do with the breaks besides that has anyone had any issues with this model? The one I just bought only has 44,000 miles on it and the Generator has 409 hours. I was told that these models leak behind the tail lights and the water comes inside the back walls. I have not noticed any leaks back there so I just wanted to know if anyone had any issues so I can nip this before they start. Thank you

We have owned our '06 Sun Voyager 8368 for about 3 years and are haven't heard of any recalls. We haven't had any issues with the brakes or any other major items. The only water intrusion we're aware of was through dried cracked caulking above the bedroom window which was easily fixed. We've removed the booth dinette in favor of a freestanding table and chairs, exchanged the jackknife sofa for a reclining love seat, and installed a 32" TV on an articulating arm directly above the entry door. It's much more comfortable watching TV straight on rather than craning your neck to see the front mounted TV.

One major improvement I'd recommend to anybody with a coach is to adjust the tire pressures to the tire manufacturer's recommendation. Weigh the coach when it's loaded for travel and the determine the required pressure based on the Michelin tire inflation charts. These charts are available on-line and are easily found by a Google search. Our coach weighs 7660 in the front and 12,580 in the rear. For those weights, the Michelin chart for my exact model and size tire recommends 80 psi in the front and 75 psi in the rear. This change has dramatically improved ride quality and handling. We completed a recent 4000 mile round trip from Florida to Upper Michigan with no issues whatsoever. The tires seem to be wearing evenly.

Good luck with your new coach. I hope you are as happy with your as we are with ours.
