New to gs haven't taken ownership yet on a 2002 Quattro would like to know if rubber roof is tpo or epdm GENE from Crockett texas

Whichever it turns out to be, you will find "Eternabond" products to be superior for dealing with sealing things up, repairs and leak stoppage with rubber roof materials.

Did they ever use fiberglass?

No idea about when / if they used fiberglass, but if it's on your rig you can tell instantly by touch or tapping on it. Rubber roof has strange 'soft' kind of texture, fiberglass is rigid like the aluminum siding of the unit. But the eternabond stuff has coverage for that too. (No, I'm not a salesman, the stuff just works that well!)

We just bought a 2008 GS SuperNova and it appears there was a leak by the fantastic fan and the ceiling has kind of like bubbled and made ripples. Do you have any idea how to repair that?

See my PM to you regarding crinkled ceiling covering... Never ignore water damage and get right after it as soon as you observe anything that indicates the egress of water. If this a condition the coach had when you bought it the dealer/seller should have fixed it or at the very minimum should provide a warranty repair.

Sad to tell you that you have been taken advantage of if you bought this from a dealer. Same with from an individual who didn't disclose the damage, but sometimes with a dealer you can force repairs if you make enough noise. If you have no recourse in either of those options, you'll have to tear out the damaged ceiling wood and replace it. As you do that, you'll find where the water damage really goes, which is usually across the ceiling and down a wall, probably causing unseen rot and mold inside the walls where the water flowed from the leak. If you're handy enough with woodwork, you could repair it yourself. Wear a mask against the mold. There's numerous youtube vids about repairing RV's, just search around and sooner or later you'll find someone repairing similar damage. After the damage has been repaired, an excellent product to keep that from happening again is made by 'Eternabond', a material that comes as a duct tape like product or a caulk like material depending on the area you're sealing up.http://www.eternabond.com/default.asp

2005 Sun Voyager has a fiberglass roof that is claimed to be a structural component. Last year I had the coach detailed while in Myrtle Beach. I was told that the roof was fiberglass but someone had sealed it with rubber roof sealer. It really does look like s@# but I sat in this coach for two days while we got 4 inches of rain and didn't see a leak.

Yes, Sudsy, if you have a fiberglass roof, you can rap on it with your knuckles and it should sound the same as the end caps and outer wall skin, a hard surface, no rubber skin over it. They may have done a sloppy job with the sealant (maybe wrong stuff, as well) but at least at this stage you don't have any worries about the rig rotting down around your ears.

Yes I know now. Having had the coach for about a year now I think I have finally figured it all out. I read the brochure about the coach but wondered why the roof looked so bad. You can't see it from the ground but it sure looks nasty from above. Like you said (and the guy that detailed it) it's sealed now.
