no, you do not need the pump on as the check valve in the system defers to the city water pressure...

Hey Chuck, where's the water pump located? Is it pretty accessible? We weren't aware that you didn't need your pump on and after a couple of months full-timing, I think it may be time to swap it out. Phil

Phil,

On my Tour Master T40C the pump is under a removable panel in the water manifold bay, just to the left of all those valves for hot and cold distribution. Should be the same on your coach.

Thanks Chuck and apologize for the delay in replying - we're full-time on the road and live in incredible times these days. I have the same panel and after checking continuity, the pump was fine. It was a faulty switch. Phew.

Water pump location please help! I just bought a 2017 Innsbruck 36Frsg destination trailer. I filled it up with the city water connection using a shuttle and gravity fed it in. The pump monitor says it’s 1/3 full in the fresh water part. Is there a place I can fill it other than the city hook up? Where is the pump located? The water isn’t coming out. Is there a shut off valve somewhere?

Earlier picture is for a 40’ mh so your trailer is likely much different. Sounds like your using water from your city connection, not from your tank. If you shut off the city water and turn on a faucet, you should be able to hear the pump. Track it down from the sound. It’s going to be near your tank. Has to be a method of filling the tank though. Many trailers use a gravity feed, ie a cap your would remove and insert a water hose. No fitting, just insert. This connection would be near the tank and higher on an outside wall. You can fill until the tank overflows. Overflow= full.
