Great to be a part of the Gulf Stream Family, even if it is in a very small way. Just picked up our 2011 Visa 19rgu on Saturday and was able to take a test trip Sunday night! Really feel like the features and build quality or comparable to much more expensive units. This is our first TT, we have had a couple of popups in the past but excited to extend our camping season.

I agree! We have the 2012 19RGU and absolutely love it!

This is our most recent of a long string of different TTs, and I think we've found the best. This 19RGU has everything we need for just the of us. Build quality is very high, it tows great even w/out WDH, and doesn't penalize the fuel economy by too much.
We did have to add a 3" lift to keep from bottoming out on rough roads and mall/gas station entries/exits. This did not affect the handling in any way, but did require the purchase of a small step stool for entry and exit.
Ours has a quick connect cold only water fitting at the rear road side- much more practical than those cheap plastic outdoor showers.

Cheers

We had our mechanic install a 4” lift on our Visa and it has made all the difference in the world. Like you, we were bottoming out at times and also worried about dragging the jacks and some of the lower pipes that hang down. So happy that we did it!

We did damage 2 jacks beyond repair - that was the big reason to add the lift. The jacks I bought are from Canadian Tire and are substantially stronger than the originals. They fit perfectly in the original mount guides. I plan to have a local welding shop add some fittings to them so I can keep them on the unit instead of having to keep them in the truck.

Cheers
