ac replacement

I have put in a brisk air to replace the low profile which had bad compressor and could not get one I ddo appliance repair.the new one has 3 wires old one had 9 wires can not figure out which of the old ones are ground and which ones are hot .is large white one power or ground also what is blank for neither one run

To thermostat need wiring diagrahm ....help

Test the wires. Find out which ones are ground and hot. Use the installation instructions from your new unit as to which wires go where.

that was problem did not know what all the wires are for .were they went in side of ceiling thanks for the help got some wirng diagrahm from gulf stream today will see if that will do what I need
