Shorted rear blinkers

1998 sun voyager 36' diesel pusher.

I was checking my tail lights and pulled the right rear light because it was not flashing, to find a broken bulb. I didn't turn off the lights or flashers while I dug the broken bulb base out of the socket, dang it, and think I popped the fuse or relay. I looked in the electrical compartment and all of the fuses are ok. Any idea on the location of the blinker relay or inline fuse for the rear flashers?

I would almost bet that the Flasher is under the dash. There may be a fuse panel down there too like a car. worth a look.

Fuse box down to the left of the pedals.

I looked and the only fuse box in in the front drivers side forward compartment. No other fuses around the pedals. I've ordered a relay and blinker module so we'll have to see if they get the job done. The fuse was good, however. The front blinkers work so i'm leaning towards the module/relay.

Not the same mh but my fuses are in the pass side rear panel. Have to remove a cover. Baseman fuse block.

Might just have to replace that socket. They all work together.

Well, took the MH into a competent mechanic that our local dealer uses when they get stumped. The multi function switch in the steering column is the issue. Apparently, when you only have a two element bulb in the tail lights that perform 3 functions the switch is necessary to make the marker, blinker and brake lights work like they are supposed to. The mechanic put in a suitable fix, and i'll work on sourcing a new mf switch when I get back from Baja and return it back to factory...maybe. Thanks for the ideas!

On my 99-Class-C Ford Chassis, front lights are on the panel by drivers left foot, but rear lights are treated as trailer and tied to fuse panel in front engine compartment, on driver's side. Suspect your are similarly separated?

On my scenic cruiser it is in the box outside right under the driver side. Also the click-relais is there. It is a very nice place for a click relais for the flasher. You can not hear it!!! I put a beeper in between. Now if i use the flasher, it beeps. Helpful!

That's where my electrical compartment is as well. An added beeper is a nice addition. I'm constantly checking my gauges so I catch my turn signals if they don't auto cancel. I did replace the goofy ash tray / cigarette lighter with an updated USB panel yesterday. I should have fabricated a deeper cup holder to hold a drink steady while I was at it. That 1/2" deep molded factory job just doesn't do it. I'll take a pic today and post it.
