What does the overhead light switch in the entrance stairwell operate?

On my 2007 Tour Master it is the front ceiling light...

Thanks. I think the wire to the switch is broken or disconnected somewhere.

On my Scenic Cruiser it has six rocker switches. One is for the generator slide, another is for the Helo lights around the eight foot mirror on the ceiling, another is for the step, and another for the porch light, and their is another way up over the door which is a reading light.

To work with the overhead switch the switch on the light it self must be turne on.
