Our site has reached a significant milestone with now 700 registered users. Granted, there are probably many who no longer use the site, but we can all be proud of our Gulf Stream family. I find it refreshing to read, get advice, share experiences, etc. without getting slammed by other owners. Thanks to everyone, especially the administrators and post checkers. Charlie

Charlie,

I agree, this forum is definitely a success, especially when you see the behavior on some others. It is what our founder & owner, GSadmin, envisioned.

The 3079 messages impresses me; that is 3079 valid snippits of conversation. Not bad!

Yes, many of our 700 registered members are now inactive, many of the names are obviously entered for another agenda. But, the 700 gives us legitamacy, & probably in some way, helps the search engines find us & place us in a higher ranking. Our admin understands those aspects inside-out.

Huuuurray to all of us

I remember last year when many of us put links to here on the other forums to make GS owners aware of the forum and it brought many new members and I believe it helped guide many here.

True many seem to have stopped using the GS forum or maybe some like myself have been away staying warm all winter, yep we are still in Florida. Glad we were this past week since Ohio weather has not been too warm or favorable for us.

I have been seening an increase in the postings and it is getting more active. It has been great watching the growth and being a small part of it.

Ha Ha Ha Ron - I just noticed you are more than a "small part of it". You have me beat hands down with 450 posts to my meager 200+.

You are absolutely correct,,, the links & the discussions that mentioned us have certainly put us on the map.

As far as the unfavorable weather... It is nearly mid-April, and we have total snow coverage in Western MA... I wake up to 20 degree temperatures, my neighbor took a 25 mile snowmobile ride on Sunday (I had taxes to do instead), coal stove is still cooking along at full heat, and I saw a robin yesterday (poor confused bird).

Bob,

Just being my usual self with opinions and no one has ever said I was quiet.

It has been great watching this forum grow, just like I did with the IRV2.com forum a few years ago. Warpath started it and it has grown to a great success in the RV world.
