Additional Storage in Cab of our GS Ultra

Has any one remodeled the overhead bed area for extra storage? We winter in our unit and are looking for more convenient areas to pack extra supplies, clothes, etc.

Our Class C Gulfstream Ultra came with Entertainment Center mounted in the bunk area. We removed that and installed a mattress when we needed more sleeping area for grandkids. Now they are in college, so updated the electronics and reinstalled the Entertainment Center. Really the cabinet reminds us of the wooden wall cabinets sold in Home Stores to go above the Laundry Room appliances. A nice Oak Broom Closet laid on edge would work also. The width on our is 96 inches but the cabinet must be shorter than that to actually get in place. We have to wrestle and fight to get it into place. Then drilling and finding the aluminum framing to secure it in place.
