Auto awning failure

My automatic awning seems to have faiiled and im not sure if its the motor or power supply issue. Does anyone know how to manually overide the motor! or has any troubleshooting tips.? I have an 08 BT cruiser 5272 any help would be appreciated.

My awning failed on 3 occasions. Of course it was always when the awning was out. In my case it had some power was not enough. I stood on the picnic table and manually rolled the awning up while my wife pushed the retract button. That seemed to work. It did not extend on its own. So I didn't have to look for an override.
