AC wont turn on.

2003 BT 5230 Went to turn on the A/C, Did not hear the motor or fan when a/c is turned on. Checked the Fuse and it's fine. Any suggestions?

Are you getting power AT the switch? I’m assuming you’re plugged into shore power? Try swapping out the fuse with a different one.

AC. Works on 110 volt & 12 volt, check breakers, 110 volt runs AC unit, but 12 thru thermostat turns on the relays.
Need both to work

I had a similar problem. After checking every thing but the obvious it was the thermostat. About 30 bucks @Camping World

Check the compressor motor isn't stuck, any motor that has not run for a while might have seized up. Manually turn it and you never know it might then work under its own power.... assuming it has got power!

Found the problem called my faithful RV mechanic. A/C units draw more power as they get older. The 110 is no longer sufficient to run the unit. Keeps blowing the same fuse. Suggest running off generator, getting a new unit or putting dedicated 30 volt plug at home. If I'm going to do that I might just get that Jacuzzi we have been talking about at the same time.
