I am the owner of a 2007 Gulf Stream Independence model 8295. When I winterized the RV last fall, I noticed that the water heater was still being filled with anti freeze with the by pass valve in by pass position. I ended up filling the entire water heater with anti freeze to safely store it for the winter. I replaced the by pass valve thinking that the old valve was leaking by. To my surprise, I got the same result. My understanding of this by pass valve is to simply by pass the water heater. Could there be a mix up in the lines? Any suggestion
