British Person new to Motothomes

Hello I am from the Uk and I have just purchased a 1992 SunSport Model 8242,it is unusually RHD and is a Grand old girl,I have been undertaking a few jobs on it in order to enjoy after the Pandemic,it is powered by the GM 6.2L Diesel runs nicely but the Engine Charging system refuses to work,I have fitted new batteries and an alternator but still don't work,I presume the fault is with an external voltage regulator, but I have been unable to find it, any ideas?Many thanks Jack

Make sure the chassis disconnect switch is not in the OFF position when you are trying to charge the diesel starting batteries. Also, most diesel coaches do not charge these diesel starting batteries from the shore power connection, just from the engine mounted alternator.

Suspicion is either a wire dropped/ missed, batteries wired wrong and/ or fusible links/ fuses blown? Pictures of batteries/ wiring?
