House battery charging question

Nubie owner of 2003 BT Cruiser would like clarification. I know the 12 volt house battery charges when the generator is running. Does it charge when attached to shore power?

Yes, it should.

in many motorhomes it will charge when on 120v power, thru the generator, or shore power, AND even thru the Alternator while traveling....(or via Solar panels, of course)

Yes, it also charges thru CONVERTER when on shore power, and ALSO from ENGINE/ ALTERNATOR when traveling; (TIP: ONLY turn BATTERY SWITCH= OFF when storing without shoreline)
