We have a 2002 Friendship, have no power going to any of the basement lights. Have checked fuses, GFI's, and master compartment light switch inside entry door. Thinking it could be that switch, haven't taken it out to check on current going to that switch yet. Wondering if anyone has had this problem?
Any help appreciated, thank you ! Tom

On our motorhome, the switch inside the door would turn on, but no power to any of the lights in the exterior compartments. Pried out the switch and found one of the wires had slipped off the terminal. Put it back on and everything worked. Crimped with a pliers and a drop of super glue so it would not happen again. Has worked fine for 6 years now. Simple no-cost fix...you have to love those.

Hi Jamesham, Willyt again. Was wondering on that basement cargo light switch, are their two wires or just one? Mine only had one but readily couldn't see another one.

Ours had two wires on top and bottom of a plastic rocker switch. Both black wires. Do not see how a switch could work if it did NOT have two wires...one in and one out.
