Anyone had any experience swapping out the Onan generator for a Home Depot duel fuel model in the $500 range??

Anyone know where I might obtain L/R tail light assemblies? Or if there's a stock light that will work?

I've got a 2006 MB Sprinter 3500 GS mini.

Thanks,

1) why remove $4k gen and install $400? 2) Look at light lenses for raised letters brand name, then Google/ Amazon search?

Why? Because the $3000 Onan has 10,000 hours on it, it won't start, and I can't find anyone who will work on it.

Thanks for the tip about the tail lights. Led me to the Hella site.

Look up “Flight Systems”. They build Onan replacement parts. Also have self help videos that are awesome. I’m NOT much on motors but after watching a couple videos I went up and did some testing with a meter that they showed how to use and found out my brushes were bad. They also test your circuit board and voltage regulator for a good price. Awesome help. And good prices if you need parts. Ended up costing me $96 and she is putting like a kitten.
