Learning the hard way about how the DOMETRIC Company/Authorized dealerships handles warranty problems.
Purchased a new 2020 BT 5240 on 05/15/2020 at a multi brands dealership in Texas. They were the only dealership that had a BT equipped with the factory options we liked.
Had the Awning extended about a dozen times since purchase and everthing working well except noticticed a large delamination about half the awning length on our last outing.
Logged into Dometric Customer Service and recieved a list and locations of Authorized Service/Repair centers, PROBLEM is if you did not purchase your RV from them they won't do the warranty replacement because they only recieve labor reimbursement at a flat set rate from DOMETRIC, BUT if I'm willing to pay their shop rate plus they keep the reimbusement from Dometric, bring it on in!
So, back to Texas or Dometric in Indiana!
