hey there!
new owners of an '03 5230. she had lots of issues (many hidden) that we are working through to get her up to snuff.
Am very curious/nervous about trying to attach a shelf and hooks on rear bathroom wall as well as secure a new vanity top. Reached out to gulfstream who weren't much help...........anyone had cause to remove interior bathroom walls and got any pics of wall stud placement or knowledge of them, or suggestions..?
any help much appreciated :)

I don't know about your year/model, but my 93 Ultra is very sparsely framed. There are inconsistently-spaced 1" aluminum(?) square tubular framing members throughout -- good luck finding them. Interspersed between the framing members is ~2" thick wood-laminated foamboard. If in good condition (not rotted/delaminated from water damage), it actually provides enough bite and rigidity for small fixtures. I use course-threaded wood screws and don't overtighten. No need for pilot holes either.

A standard Stud Finder works quite well in my Scenic Cruiser.
