Our bedroom slide out is electric and the bottom of the slide extends fully.
After running it out, the top is about three inches shy of contacting the side wall. You can push it out another inch by hand but it is still an inch or so from being fully out on the tops.
Is there an adjustment? Why is the slide loose enough to push it by hand at the top?

There is a method to adjust them but I don’t remember how. You can find it on YouTube. I wonder why the top doesn’t slide out all the way. If it is cable driven, then the cables need adjusting, if it is track driven, then something might be restricting the upper portion from following the bottom driven track. See if something is binding up the top. Otherwise, do your research for a manufacturer’s directions for adjusting. You could also call the manufacturer for instructions.

If the slide is not touching the inside wall at the top, there may be something that was invariantly placed on top of the slide. If the bottom of the slide is going out to far it’s a timing issue. Meaning the top and bottom of the slide ate not in time with each other
