Ventline Kitchen Exhaust Fan

I am trying to replace the fan motor on my Ventline kitchen hood exhaust fan. I have the replacement motor and fan blade but when I tried to remove the metal hood shroud it appears to be fastened to the outside wall. Do I have to access this from the outside vent cover?

Check with Gulf Stream Service Department.
They have people who know things about how these were built and how to service them.
