My Atrium was dead all in the lower compartments. Pulled the GFI and the lead was lose. Fixed that and now the GFI kept tripping? Went below and unplugged a 110 plug in the Inverter Compartment that I am asking if anyone knows where this goes too? Engine Heater if I have one is what we assume as I unplugged it and everything works and GFI does not trip? Anyone know where this original installed 110 outlet and plugged in wire goes too? Goes immediately up into the flooring and GONE?

That outlet and cord are for the engine block heater.

Replace the block heater, I also replaced the ac outlet with a outlet with on off switch. Keeps from having to unplug the heater all the time. You can see how to replace on you tube

On my gulfstream the plug goes to a gfi circuit breaker if yours does not trip while engine heater is unplugged you need a new heater, been there done that most likely its daisy chained to your gfi

I have a 2002 Friendship 8362 that I bought around 5 months ago, how does the block heater come on, is there a switch or breaker somewhere?

Reading the replies,
1. How does the heater know to turn on?

I unplugged it from the plug, but still my bathroom GFI pops occasionally from something? Not sure how to trace it when I never know it is popped yet?

Try replacing the block heater. There is a link on the same.

5 months out later, the bathroom GFI pops off and on still and I have not isolated why?
Have not been in cold weather to be concerned of the block heater yet, but poses a question of what temp makes it warm? Thermostat in the oil pan?
