Step riser.
The last step into the coach is a 10” climb. Hard to use for bad knees. The other steps are about 7” to 8” apart. The step before the big 10” was about 7” so I cut two pieces of ¾” plywood 24” X 19.5” and screwed them together. The 19.5" width fits inside of the exterior step trim and will hold it in place without attachments Now the last step is 8.5”. Much easier on the knees. Put grip tape on the new tread so you do not slip when wet.

Great idea!
I agree that the ergonomics aren't there.
As an aside,I bought one of those adjustable height jacks to place under the bottom step to provide some rigidity when in use.
That cantilevered step set up seems too flimsy for long term use without some effects of metal fatigue.
When you are ready to roll out you will need to remember to remove the jack to facilitate step retraction.

Lippert's steps are amazing. No more bouncing when getting into and out of the trailer. We had to create a wooden crate for transport as our trailer only had 3 steps and our dogs and I had trouble getting up the old RV steps. The new ones even have a bigger width, making climbing easier and safer. the tip result's definitely well worth the money.
